How do I book a session?

What happens in the first session?
In the first session we’ll discuss what has brought you here and what you’re looking to get out of therapy. You’ll find out more about the approach at SynergyWorks, the model used and how the sessions can run going forward. This is also an opportunity to check you feel comfortable and want to proceed with further sessions.
What is your availability?
Sessions are available Mon-Fri and Saturday morning, times are flexible. When you get in touch, if you mention your availability, I can let you know if that works.
How often are sessions?
This usually depends on your availability. Most clients attend sessions once a week. We can discuss your circumstances and see what works best for you.
How long does counselling take?
There isn’t a clear answer to the number of sessions required because often it depends on each individual and their goals. Whilst an individual may attend each session, it’s also important what the individual does outside of these sessions – this is what influences how much is sustained. SynergyWorks is centred around creating sustainable solutions so that you feel empowered to take care of your wellbeing.
What happens if I stop sessions?
You can stop the sessions at any point in the process because it's important the timing feels right to you. You may decide you've met your short term goals.
